Max teams up with Mike in Abandoned military base.
Splatter's main attraction is a story mode which allows the player to explore various stages, starting from an apartment in the city to a laboratory where zombies began attacking, all while telling the story of Max and his quest to find the source of the zombie outbreak in order to put a stop to it.
The stages have names that generally reflect their location or mission and are numbered in order. There are a total of 13 stages, 15 including optional stages.
